The wonderful AVA Gallery in Chattanooga annually hosts “The 4 Bridges Art Festival” in Chattanooga. I hope that you enjoy this brief video highlighting a few artists that attended.

The Art variety was perfect; most of the artists were friendly and ready to engage their admirers. I really enjoyed the entire day and hope to take in more of the event next year.

There were also food and drink venues for consumption.

Yada Yada is an art gallery filled with the happy, “makes you smile”, whimsical art created by local artist, Sylvia McCollum. Sylvia and sis Jennifer have opened this “special” little shop in the Chattanooga Art District, to display her creativity in her paintings and drawings. Each piece of work has a message and thought behind it and she uses everything; dogs, cats, people, horses, etc in such a way that you are sure to smile. “Wow, I am Special” is a book that Sylvia has written and illustrated. A great place to grab an amazing cake, whether it comes from a cup or not! My favorite has been the chocolate peanut butter cake with peanut butter mousse.

Area 61 Gallery was founded April 2009 by three Chattanooga local wood craftsmen, David Crewe, Rudd Montgomery and Phil Timm, area 61 is a collective retail space for Chattanooga artists and craftsmen to showcase and sell their work between Chattanooga art festivals and openings.
They genuinely have a heart to share ART with all of Chattanooga locals and the millions of visitors that travel through yearly. Their mission statement “The Art is Out There and Seeing is Believing”.
